Knights of Columbus Golf Tournament 50/50 Raffle
Tickets for this year’s 50/50 Raffle are now available (as of 8/28/23))
This year’s Raffle is sponsored by Firetti Builders.
All net proceeds from the raffle are used to support local Brunswick County charities.
The drawing will be after the Golf Tournament on September 27th.
In 2022 the winner 50/50 Raffle won $2,678 (first winner).
There were three other winners. The raffle grossed $8,900. This year there will again be four winners.
1st is still 30% of gross, 2nd will be 10% and two 5% winners.
A book of 6 Raffle tickets is $50 or a single Raffle ticket is $10. You do not have to be present to win.
Odds of winning 1st prize are better than winning the Lottery.
Tickets will be sold after Mass on the weekends of 9/16-17 and 9/23-24,

KNIGHTS SCHOLARSHIPS
The local Knights of Columbus Msgr. Christopher Dennen Assembly 2017 (Wilmington) will be awarding $3,000 Gold award, $2,500 Silver award, and $1,500 Bronze award scholarships to Catholic students enrolling for the first time in a university or community college beginning 2023.
The student must demonstrate academic proficiency for admission and some service to church, school, or their local community. The 3 winners will be discerned by the K of C Scholarship for Future Saints Committee members.
To apply for the scholarship a student must fill out a one page application, write a minimum 700 word essay on the life of a Catholic Saint, and provide the requested biographical information.
