Mark your calendar to stop by and pick up some sweets at the Ladies Guild Bake Sale after all Masses on May 25th and 26th. If you have a favorite recipe you would like to share, you do not need to be a Guild member to provide baked goods, as all contributions are welcome. Drop off your donation before the Mass you are attending. Please label offering to indicate if it contains nuts, is gluten free, sugar free, etc. Proceeds support the Ladies Guild Scholarship Fund.
The Sacred Heart Ladies Guild will hold their June meeting and annual installation of officers on Monday, June 3rd at 11:00 a.m. followed by the Spring Luncheon, which will be a potluck this year. Sign up at the parish reception desk and bring your favorite dish to share. All Guild members, active or inactive, and any women of the parish interested in learning more about the Guild are welcome. The deadline for signing up is May 27th.
Ladies Guild Scholarships
High school seniors who are members of the parish are eligible to apply for scholarships granted by the Sacred Heart Ladies Guild. The award is based on scholarship and church/community involvement. In addition, Continuing Education Scholarships will be offered. Eligibility for these scholarships include all who are currently enrolled in college program. Applications are available at the church reception desk and are due back by April 1, 2019.
Sacred Heart Ladies Guild Lenten Retreat
All ladies of the parish and their friends are invited to attend the Ladies Guild Lenten Retreat on Tuesday, March 12th, beginning at 9:00 a.m. held here at Sacred Heart Church. The Retreat will be guided by Fr. Ian Van Heusen, an author and educator, who specializes in prayer and meditation. Please register at the Church reception desk or call: (910)457-6173.
DRESSER PROJECT 2019 The Dresser Project collection, on display in the church gathering area, provides diapers, clothing, and child-care products to Brunswick County mothers who chose life for their child. The display is organized by the Sacred Heart Ladies Guild and runs until February 10th. Please stop by and select a tag for the baby item needed and return the item to the church display. Always welcome and desperately needed are diapers, baby wipes, and pack-and-play type cribs. Please contact Nancy Seitz at 253-3355 for more information.
Mark your calendars for the Ladies Guild Annual Flea Market on Saturday, February 2, 2019.
Donations can be dropped off Monday through Thursday, January 28-31 at the Social Hall 9:00AM - 4:00PM. If anyone has items, such as furniture or large appliances they would like out of their home sooner, here is also an option... We have two storage units at Ward Storage on Long Beach Road for use before the Flea Market.

Calling All Artisans—Fall Craft Bazaar The Ladies Guild will be holding its annual “Street of Shops” Craft Bazaar on Saturday, October 6th. Parish members work all year to provide hand-crafted goods for sale. The proceeds for this event benefit he Food panty, Brunswick Family Assistance, and other local charities. We are very fortunate to have many talented artisans within our parish. We are asking for donations from those artisans for items for the raffle which takes place during the bazaar. Art works of any genre including paintings, stained glass, sculpture, woodworking, pottery, jewelry, needlecraft, just to name a few are all welcome donations.

The SHLG invites all parish families to donate baked goods next weekend on Sept 1st - 2nd. Please bring your items to the Social Hall before Mass. Be sure to stop by and purchase some homemade goodies to take home after Mass!
All proceeds from this bake sale will be used for the Ladies Guild Scholarship Fund for Sacred Heart high school and continuing education students.
On June 4th, the Guild will hold its annual installation of officers and luncheon at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon.
Tickets are $13 and the menu selection is available at the Parish Office. All Guild members, active and inactive, and all women of the Parish are welcome. Tickets must be purchased by May 24th.
